Our Three Faces
A Japanese proverb believes that every person have three faces or personalities. The first face we show to the world, second to our near and dear ones and third to ourselves. It indicates that we wear a type of invisible mask in front of everyone, every time. Only the third face is the real face of the person. The first face which we try to show to the world we want it to be perfect and flawless. We always try to sugarcoat everything in this face, this side of personality is a small part of our true personality but does not depicts the whole and real picture of the person. The fear of being judged or getting mocked and not placed in the right place, usually is the root cause for wearing this mask. We don’t share our real thoughts openly and many times we behave fake and diplomatic around people to just position ourselves rightly.
